CASPIAN TERN/ TANJI BEACH/ GAMBIA/ 2015.

JUST HAD TO SHOW THIS IMAGE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is something I wish everybody could see, its amazing! PICTURE THE SCENE! 20 to 30 brightly painted hand built fishing boats, like giant wooden canoes , laying out in shallow water, so laden with fish, they are throwing out any fish not so good, on the shore is about 1000 plus gambias waiting to wade out and purchase the fish, in the water also are many very poor people trying to pick up the surplus fish, but in competition to the people are thousands of Gulls, terns and pelicans also after the fish, the good fish are put on heated tin roofs to smoke, A sight I will never forget, the tern pictured is one of the lucky ones, unless some other gull robs it.
Thank you so much for your visit, any comment are very appreciated………….Tomx.,
